Future Career
Bub, You came home from school yesterday with a backpack full of worksheets. We went through them and one caught my eye. It was a picture you had drawn of a train engine and underneath the picture you had finished the sentence, "When I grow up, I want to be a ____." by writing 'a train engineer'. I wanted to tell you how good the picture was and that a train engineer was a great job, but before I could, you said to me, "Momma, Momma, I'm going to be a train engineer when I grow up, will you be my fireman?" I've never been offered such a great job.

Happy New Year!!!
My sweet, sweet little boys are changing right in front of my eyes. Not just in your looks, but in your mannerisms and how you carry yourself. Santa believed you were quite good last year and lavished you with goodies. Bub, you are in love with a little thing called a Leapster that plays educational games and Beanie, you now have full reign over the train tracks and are loving it. We have also begun playing games like Fish and Dinosaur Train. I think it's the beginning of many nights around a game board.
